Glo2Facial vs HydraFacial: what each one actually does

These are the two treatments people ask for by name. They are priced identically at every tier we offer, and they are not the same thing. Here is what each one does, in the plainest terms we can put it.
HydraFacial
“The magic is in the wand; cleanse/exfoliate-extract/hydrate-fuse/protect. It works like a vacuum to open pores for a deep cleanse and easy extraction of impurities and dead skin cells (manual extraction will be performed if needed).”
The short version: it is a device-led deep cleanse. The wand does the exfoliating and the extracting, and your esthetician extracts by hand where the wand cannot.
Glo2Facial
“Glo2Facial's patented Oxygenation™ technology acts as a catalyst to increase the body's oxygen levels naturally for deeper absorption of active ingredients throughout the entire treatment.”
The short version: the emphasis sits less on extraction and more on getting the actives to absorb.
So which one should you book?
We are not going to answer that in a blog post, and you should be a little wary of anyone who does. Both run at three tiers — Signature, Deluxe and Platinum — at matching prices, so cost is not the tiebreaker. The tiebreaker is your skin on the day, and that is a judgement made in front of you rather than in advance.
What we can tell you is what the top tier adds. Our Platinum HydraFacial includes our signature lymphatic drainage massage and a neck, shoulder and scalp massage with LED light therapy.
